Forty exceptional speeches given since 1945 with a biography of the speaker and an account of the historical context, it's impact and consequences. Among others are speeches from Winston Churchill, Eleanor Roosevelt, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Jr, Kevin Rudd, Mao Zedong.  
For me, the stand out speech in this book was made by Julius Nyerere "Socialism is an attitude of the mind"
Julius Nyerere (1922-99) The president of Tanzania. He was instrumental in leading a movement to attain Independence for Tanzania.
